A 140-year-old former hostel rebuilt from the foundations up into luxury commercial offices — with its 1800s wood carvings restored.
We stripped four floors back to the structure and rebuilt the 17,000 sq ft building from the ground up, installing new foundations while keeping the structure stable throughout.
The heritage wood carvings from the 1800s were restored and set against a modern, minimalist interior of glass partitions and contemporary millwork. New roof, new windows, plumbing from the sewer up, new electrical panels on every floor and new HVAC: 95% of the building was renewed.
After 140 years of neglect, the building now exceeds its former glory — and the expectations of its new owners.
